2014 - New News on the Colorado HCG Diet at Body Solutions Rx and our new Book coming in 2 weeks!

Since my last post to you all, there has been the yearly January review by the FDA of the weight loss industry. This year, Sensa was repremanded and forced to pay back $25 Million dollars due to what the FTC calls "false" and "misleading" advertising. The ads in question do show people who are probably athletes with ripped abs and perfect bodies, together with text in the ads that suggests using Sensa will produce those results. This is akin to censorship in my opinion, as the ads do not directly say that using Sensa will lead to a perfect body like those in the ads. Rather, ads such as these create an "emotional" connection for people, and gives many people an "idea" of fit bodies, and the like. But, most consumers get it, and yet some get it but decide to voice concerns over their use of Sensa and results that never came like those in the photos. Marketing is damned if if does and doesn't. Successful marketing, which we ALL - including me - are exposed to every day, stirs emotion and desire, and leads to sales. That is the nature of marketing and the free market we are supposed to have.
So, together with Sensa, the FDA also his another HCG supplier with a cease and desist. This provider, from what I know, is an India based producer of an ORAL product for the hcg diet. Thought, their ads and marketing and text are fairly blatant in regard to hcg claims and terminology that has now been officially termed as "illegal" per the FDA.
What remains are a few products, including PRIME Appetite and Weight Original from Body Solutions Rx for the HCG Diet, that are regularly purchased and reviewed by the FDA at one of their facilities. They know our companies, and know we are making all the necessary revisions as changes are made at the FDA. Body Solutions Rx has always been in line with these needed changes, and therefore has a product that remains available, AND still works just as it did when we first launched it in 2008.
If you are still looking for the HCG diet and a product and program that are consistent and ALWAYS available, we of course have that. There are a few other companies that have good products too, and we are all pretty much priced the same. The difference that can be made is whether you have access to someone, like me, that can guide you, answer questions, and help with the process. 1.) A change from the bread items suggested on the 2 carbohydrate focused meals eaten late morning and late afternoon. Due to the adulterated wheat and processing of Melba Toasts and bread sticks now on the market, and based on our knowledge of of complex carbohydrates that better increase metabolism, activation of vital enzymes for the breakdown of fat, and better overall nutrition, a few new options are available that will increase the efficacy of the program.
2.) An increase in caloric load based on degree of fat to be lost, and HOW your body processed body fat daily. Some people lose the pound a day and do just fine on 500 calories. We expect them to do what they believe has worked for them.
Then, there are those who have a small amount of body fat to lose, OR just tend to lose at a lower rate then an average of a pound a day. For THESE people, proper nutrition for the body, and optimized continual fat loss are compromised with trying to lose every pound on just 500 calories of ingested food a day together with body fat being consumed. These customers need to eat more to not only ensure their body is fed properly between food eaten and fat consumed, but the increase in proper calories will enable the body to continue using body fat and NOT go into a deficit and shut down the process.
3.) Improved tracking materials that are easy to understand, allow you to better track daily progress, and contain check-in points to ensure you get your questions answered and you are eating properly for your place in the program.
Most other factors remain the same. However, a greater emphasis will be placed on Post-Weight loss counseling, so customers not only lose their initial weight, but have the information to continue to become lean, and MAINTAIN the body they want LONG TERM. This is where the real work begins.

Some sound nutritional advice for my customers and the public at large.
Regardless of the HCG Diet, some basic tips that can be easily employed and enjoyed by those looking for a more healthy and fat-free life are worth mentioning.

Nutritional Eating Tip of the Week: For those of you focused on FAT LOSS and getting lean, and planning on reducing calories to help with the process, do so in this order - DO NOT cut back on protein calories... FIRST reduce calories from fat... then cut back on SIMPLE carbohydrates... and lastly reduce complex carbohydrates. You need protein, and you need complex carbohydrates too for both energy and to process protein so it can be used to maintain your body's tissues and vital structures.
Follow this order as one of your Fat Loss Rules, and you are better on your way to your goals!
Finally, you need to EAT. Eating the right foods with a PLAN can make the difference between diet failure and diet success.
The GOAL should be a long term, health conscious lifestyle where you don't gain the weight back.
Simple strategies, added one at a time - and not all at once - can more easily take you in the right direction. The solution to YOUR perfect body takes time, persistence, and motivation.

Response to a New CBS Spotlight on a new Weight Loss Drug Approved by the FDA
Here's my response to the story from a local CBS News 12 News Segment -
I was in a rather combative mood when I wrote this comment in response to a CBS TV news story about 1 person who lost weight on the new FDA approved, phentermine-based weight loss drug that apparently people can take forever to keep weight off. Take my response with a grain of salt, but what it all boils down to is 1.) personal responsibility in one's choices, 2.) education on what to eat, what to avoid, and have to make proactive choices, 3.) regardless of one's hectic life, movement and some sort of exercise is critical for so many reasons, and 4.) choosing select, NATURAL products that are tools to good health and leanness.
START:
I have had tens of thousands of successful customers who have lost significant weight, keep it off long term, and unlike the the "drug" approved by the FDA and, hence, Big Pharma, above, its natural and people don't have to stay on it for the reso of their lives.
The TV episode above simply points to MORE Phantermine for hunger... this is a horrible drug. And something called "Topiramate" that has no description given and is simple a "formula" with extended release.
I am prepared to do "studies" on what my company has been offering for over 7 years now, the only difference here is that Big Pharmacy has the money to conduct studies, and the vigorously dispute and and destroy anything that they have decided NOT to put their name on. If they don't agree and the FDA does not agree, then it can't possible work, right?
Now you have a new drug above. You can take it - and pay for it - for the rest of your life. Your hunger will be suppressed. But, does it teach you to eat the right foods? Does it teach you have to exercise? Does it have ANYTHING to do wit personal responsibility? Or is it simply another money making machine, built on the same old framework of PHENTERMINE, with unknown future side-effects?
Watch TV. Every new drug being approved hits the market, the commercial tells YOU to ask your doctor if you can have it - AKA legal drug pushing by Big Pharma - a few months go by, then suddenly lots of nasty side effects are reported and commercials suddenly air from legal companies offering to get you compensation if you have been adversely affected by that drug. And so the wheel goes round and round and round again.
Yes people suffer with obesity. Even with all the new supplements, drugs, procedures, etc, on the market it keeps getting worse. Why?
Regardless of our hcg diet "product" what we have seen amazing success with over the years, the true correction of obesity lies in dietary and exercise protocols that mainstream Big Pharmacy, FDA and other money driven entities don't care to talk about. Suppression of the true nature of obesity is the reason it is getting worse. And a worsening of obesity is a BIG money maker for Big Pharmacy and companies all over the USA. True, my company has benefited from this as well, but or focus is really make a difference in our customers' lives, provide them with sound GUIDANCE so they "get it", and steer them away from a life of obesity, disease and mounting health issues.
But, the FDA has its own agenda, and regardless of them making the public believe that they stand for the public good, they are nothing more than an arm of big pharmacy, which is money hungry and could care less about the true health of people.
So to everyone who wants to take more drugs for the rest of your life, I wish you the best in luck as the worlds' largest chemistry experiment. And thank you for increasing the profits of pharmacies and their share holders worldwide. When you stop taking those drugs, then what?

Whether one uses the hcg diet, natural cleanses and health products, as I stated at the beginning, there is so much more to losing weight and being healthy than the products alone. So many commercials and company advertisements would have people believing that the "product" is going to be all they need to reach their goals, and in many instances this terminology is combined with the line "... all without having to change anything about your daily life...". This implies that there is no responsibility to be placed on the consumer, and that the products or in the eyes of the FDA, pharmaceuticals will do it all for you.
The public need to get their heads out of the sand and take not of the simple and effective information that is right in front of their eyes. The tools to weight loss, leanness, and good health are right in front of you. Take charge of your own health through good nutritious food, stop eating "crap" from cans, boxes and restaurants, get some exercise even if it starts with 10 minutes of walking a day, drink plenty of water, supplement the nutrient deprived foods now offered with a good whole nutritional supplement(s), and allow TIME and PATIENCE to get the changes done. It takes a lot less time to take the weight off then put it on. And in most cases, you DON'T NEED A DRUG, PHARMACEUTICAL, and even the HCG Weight Loss hcg diet.
Those who are encumbered by excess fatty tissue and wish to get as much off as quickly as possible so you CAN walk, feel lighter, and have the energy and drive to make the necessary changes in food and fitness - YOU can certainly benefit from many programs out there including the Body Solutions Rx PRIME Appetite and Weight Reduction program. HCG Weight Loss News: Changes abroad - heading to the USA.

In summary, as owner of Body Solutions Rx - one of the first, original national companies to offer both injectable hcg and effective oral hcg style sprays - I have been privy to the realities of where the hcg diet industry is going, have read in depth the legalities of hcg use on the FDA web site, have been instructed by peers on changes I NEED to make to our web site and program materials, and with this knowledge I have a duty to follow suite.
The reality is that hcg is officially illegal to be sold for weight loss, though the last group to be reprimanded are doctors who continue to offer injectable hcg - though that group is quickly shrinking as well. It is also illegal to be used as an ingredient in products, and the diet itself have many doctors complaining that it is irresponsible and unsafe.
All of this due to lack of lengthy and expensive US studies to back up claims.
All of this regardless of the many thousands of people, raising their hands and screaming "look at me, I have never been able to lose this weight, and now I look and feel amazing".
It all comes down to the law of the land in the United States. Its not approved. People go to jail or are fined out of business. Selling HCG outside of a standard medical practice is considered a crime.
So. With all this hysteria, why are there still sites on the internet offering "Oral HCG Drops" and "Homeopathic HCG" products and programs?
This ties into the premise of this blog entry; most of the remaining HCG labeled products still on the internet come from OUTSIDE the United States, from countries such as India, China, and others. And laws regulating those products are different than those that regulate the manufacture and sale INSIDE the United States. In short, those who have worked hard and are US citizens, are the first to be penalized and driven out of business. Thus, leading more to reduction in the US economic status.
However, time is coming for those countries who manufacture, ship and sell their products to the United States market. Slowly but surly.
Recently I have been told by a wholesale client from Israel of the changes going on there. She has been trying to develop her market in Israel, and sell oral hcg-style products. She had indicated in the past year that the ability to manufacture hcg products in Israel had been banned, but that products brought in for sale for weight loss could still be used.
However, as of this mast December 2012, she had returned from a trip to Israel where the "hcg diet craze" was taking off. She indicated to me - when I asked her how things were going in Israel - that NOW people who are selling hcg injections for weight loss, oral sprays, or the like, are being arrested for doing so. And so, she indicated that the market in Israel for this weight loss program is now shut down.
The signs are always there. As anyone who reads this does their research, you will find that, not only hcg-style products but the supplement industry in general is under attack and will soon be regulated out of availability. It seems impossible NOW due to the vast availability of products on the market, but then, our government works in slow yet methodical ways. Then one day you wake up and the world is a very different place, you look around and ask "How did this happen?"
That all being said, my company - and there are others out there too that do a great job - are taking the steps to be compliant, as responsible as possible, and lift the industry up as best as we can.
The safety and health of the customer is always the first priority. The days of massive profits from such enterprises - I have found - are really at an end, unless you are a large company with plenty of cash for experimental advertising.
Body Solutions Rx will continue to develop and do the best for OUR customers as we always have, and offer our products and programs in a responsible, safe and effective manner. Self promotion - we also have an A+ with the BBB and strive for the best, though even we have had to cut back on labor.
Good luck to all of you out there looking into the now declining hcg market. But, HCG for weight loss is not everything. The "process" of weight loss will ALWAYS be determined by your OWN efforts - take personal responsibility for your actions, eat clean whole foods and nothing packaged or from a restaurant, drink up to a gallon of fresh water a day, cut out the sodas and the foods that spike blood sugar, and invest time each day in exercise, even if you begin with 10 minutes of walking a day - the changes you will find when you start with just one simple change at a time will add up a lot faster then you believe. It takes a lot less time to reduce weight than to put it on. Your body will love you for loving it back.

This is Daniel Riedel, CO/Founder of Body Solutions Rx and I'm going to be writing about HCG A LOT!
I am making this blog as a platform to understand WHAT the "HCG Diet Craze" was all about, WHY it came back with a roar in 2007, WHY it seemed to work, and WHY it seems to have had its day and then was regulated by the FDA, FTC and medical establishment at large.
As one of the leaders in the industry back in early 2007, Body Solutions Rx (bodysolutionsrx.com), has had medical staff that have overseen injectable, doctor supervised weight loss and hcg-style weight loss programs. In 2008 we formulated and created our very own original ORAL hcg diet spray formula that has made many, many people very happy with the results they received while using this formula AND working hard through the system of eating certain foods, paying close attention to changes in their bodies, and preparing for life AFTER the diets.
I am going to explore the theory behind the use of hcg in this diet, and why our governmental agencies are so hard pressed to eliminate its availability so feverishly.
As owner of Body Solutions Rx, I have a duty to ensure the safety of my customers - that is the # 1 priority we have assumes.
