It seems when something new comes along, change is constant, there is a crescendo, and then it moves away. Has the "HCG Diet Craze" had its day? We venture to Re-Think what has happened and build on it. Regulation in play, it is time to move beyond "The HCG Diet Craze" into the next frontier of understanding!

HCG | The FDA | Claims | And Deductions

This is very simple...

1.) The FDA has not approved HCG for weight loss, either injectable or oral forms.

2.) The FDA does not recognize HCG as a valid homeopathic ingredient to be used in anything... therefore, oral preparations that claim to have hcg in them are ALSO considered invalid and illegal.

3.) The FDA and medical community at large do not agree there is evidence to support the use of HCG for weight loss, and conclude due to lack of US based studies and clinical evidence, that there is no proof HCG plays any kind of role in weight loss or the elimination of body fat.

4.) The medical establishment - citing lack of proof hcg has any affect on weight/fat loss - therefore concludes that the 500-Calorie diet that going along with hcg weight loss programs is therefore just a very low calorie diet, and therefore dangerous because of the effects low calories diets play on general health.
Again - NO US STUDIES have been performed to validate the theories behind the use of HCG in weight loss....

So...

WHY do so many people who have used HCG in conjunction with this specific diet - or an oral based product - claim that:

- they lost the weight they wanted?
- lost inches that they have never been able to lose before with other diets or exercise?
- eliminated fatty deposits in areas of their body's they have had all their lives and unable to get rid of?
- they are not hungry while on the diet?
- they have fewer cravings?
- they have MORE energy then ever before?
- fit into clothes they have not worn for decades?
- have had migraine headaches they have had all their lives disappear?
- have had their menopausal symptoms greatly reduced or disappear?
- lose the majority of weigh they want - and in many cases - all the weight they want and it stays off with correct post diet eating?
.... These are reports from people who have done the diet at Body Solutions Rx. While Body Solutions Rx can't claim ANY of these things will happen, or claim a product will do these things, and does not put the claim on our products, these are what clients have reported.

So... Let's say HCG does not have anything to do with these events. THEN WHAT IS LEADING TO THE CHANGES THESE PEOPLE ARE REPORTING?

Many people like these have made the same claims on Oprah, Dr. Oz and other shows... while at the same time others have said it did not work for them, etc.

Not everything works for every one. That's the way bodies are.

The FDA, FTC and Medical community do have a duty to protect the American public. And in doing so, they are eliminating "bad" products and "false" advertising.

But, there is something significant going on when so many people report the same, long term results from a program such as the one above.

My opinion: Maybe or maybe not hcg. If we eliminate hcg from the equation, and focus on the diet in its purity, and responsibly help clients eat the right find of foods and in the right amounts, then "maybe?" the PROCESS is what it most important to the claims customers are making? Maybe.
